Interest Groups In Iran

An interest group, is an organization that looks for influencing political decisions. It could be a policy that exclusively benefits group members or segment of society.

There are many types of interest groups in Iran:
-The Tudeh Party of Iran

-Student Movement Coordination Commitee for Democracy in Iran (SMCCDI)

In addition to hard power, Iran uses the soft power of its considerable political, economic, and religious influence to pursue its national interests in Iran; The post-revolution government in Iran restricted freedom of religion. The Constitution declared that the "official religion of Iran is Islam and the sect followed is that of Ja'fari (Twelver) Shi'ism," and that this principle was "eternally immutable.
There are also interest groups such as the media that spread information so that the government can also inform people about news that new rules and policies should be inforced.

Very much to include is that they're are not that many interest groups in Iran such as the US, Iraq, etc...
